Over the weekend my Lifegroup went up to Cleveland to work at the Nehemiah Mission. I took a lot of pictures and will be posting several of them over the next few days. Cleveland is the poorest city in the United States; in most cities there are run down areas surrounded by suburbs, but in Cleveland the slums go on for miles and miles. The whole city is old and dirty, like one giant moldy puddle sitting on Lake Erie. This particular shot was taken about half a block down the street from the Nehemiah Mission. There are old churches scattered everywhere, and they all seem to be in considerable disrepair. It was exciting to be able to help out the mission, if only for a weekend.
