Some unseasonably cold weather has followed unseasonably warm weather around here and the result has been devastating for some of the more delicate plants. I photographed this bush about a week ago just as it was entering full bloom. The other night Britt and I walked past it in jackets and found it in this sorry condition. I heard that the unexpected frostings have brought a number of fruit farms to ruin for the summer.
